Note :

You do not have to install W3Perl on your provider server if you have access to your logs from a web interface.
If so, just install W3Perl locally and activate in the configuration file the option to retrieve automatically your logfiles.
It is really easier to install W3Perl this way and it will save your provider CPU .. who will be very happy.

* First STAGE : Install the scripts

- Follow the Webmaster (with CGI) or User (without CGI) installation procedure.

* 2nd STAGE : Building configuration file

- If you have CGI access, use the web administration interface to build your own configuration file. All you need is to select the retrieve external logfile option.
- People without CGI will have to build their own configuration manually or use the online tool. Again, don't forget to select the retrieve external logfile option. Some configuration files are available as examples.

* 3rd STAGE : Ready

- You should now be able to analyse your logs.
- Run the cron-w3perl.pl script with the -a flag to reset all your stats.
- You can use a crontab if available to schedule the stats to update with the following command 'cron-w3perl.pl -e' to run daily

* Problem ?
